Linda L. Rife

Linda L. Rife is a cellist with an interest in extended techniques, just intonation and microtonality, concert theater, performance art, and world traditions, especially Hindustani, West African, Indonesian, Chinese, Irish and Native American music, in addition to traditional repertoire.  She also sometimes performs as a percussionist, singer, and dancer.  She is currently learning the Chinese erhu, the Indonesian rebab, and the North Indian tabla.
